Defiance is a particpant of the Western Buckeye League and is a member of the OHSAA. Students have a choice of 3 sports in the fall, Football, Volleyball, and Cross-Country. In the winter there is Boys and Girls Basketball and Wrestling. Track and Field is the only sport in the spring.

Barry Lytle is the Athletic Director for the Junior High sports.
